INTERVENTION ON PARENTAL CONTROL

The following article proposes a direct action workshop with children to warn them of the main dangers of the internet and provide them with tools to be consumers aware of new technologies. This group is one of the main users of digital resources, and therefore they are very vulnerable to the risks involved in the web (scams, harassment or violation of privacy). This proposal seeks to sensitize both young people and adults of the daily life of these threats and the need to take precautions in the use of the Internet. For this reason, a project on parental control has been developed to help and provide families with strategies to address everyday situations related to new technologies so that their children have security in them. A workshop has been designed with 10 sessions for two months to try to know the importance of working digital tools safely with 43 families with children with mobiles schooled in third, fourth, fifth and sixth grade of Primary Education. The estimated results that we hope to obtain after the implementation of the workshop is to collect information on the course of learning and its evolution.
