Inclusive education aims to ensure that all students have access to quality teaching, regardless of their individual characteristics. In this context, sign language plays a crucial role in the inclusion of deaf students by facilitating their communication and learning. This study analyzes teachers' perceptions regarding the implementation of sign language in the educational system, considering its importance, existing barriers, and strategies for its integration. Through a survey of 125 teachers, a broad consensus was identified on the need to raise awareness within the educational community and promote inclusive policies. The results highlight the importance of teacher training in sign language, the involvement of the deaf community in the educational environment, and the need to ensure resources and support for its effective implementation. The study concludes that teachers' positive perception is a key factor in consolidating sign language as an inclusion tool in the educational system.
