SCHOOL AND FAMILY OF STUDENTS WITH ASD WORKSHOP. PROPOSAL AND PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT.

Currently, many families with children diagnosed with ASD “claim the need to receive support, advice and additional information. They also raise the need for greater training and awareness of professionals about ASD” (Moro, Jerano and Solano, 2015, p.20). It is in this sense that this workshop arises due to the increase in diagnoses at an early age of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). So much so, that we can find a study carried out in the US found that the first to suspect the problem were family members (60%), followed at a great distance by pediatricians (10%) and educational services (7%). . In the survey carried out on relatives of people with autism in Spain, we have obtained similar results (Hernández, 2005).
