La influencia de la inteligencia emocional y la resiliencia en el desempeño académico de aspirantes a docentes

Resumen

Este estudio analiza la influencia de la inteligencia emocional y la resiliencia en el desempeño académico de aspirantes a docentes que se preparan para las oposiciones. Participaron 87 aspirantes, a quienes se les aplicó el Cuestionario de Inteligencia Emocional de Schutte (SSREI) y la Escala de Resiliencia de Connor-Davidson (CD-RISC), además de recopilar sus calificaciones académicas. Los resultados revelaron una correlación positiva y significativa entre la inteligencia emocional y la resiliencia (r = 0.64, p < 0.001). Asimismo, ambas variables mostraron una relación significativa con el desempeño académico (inteligencia emocional: r = 0.46, p < 0.001; resiliencia: r = 0.51, p < 0.001). El análisis de regresión indicó que la inteligencia emocional y la resiliencia explican conjuntamente el 43% de la varianza en el rendimiento académico (R² ajustado = 0.427). Estos hallazgos subrayan la importancia de integrar el desarrollo de competencias socioemocionales en la formación de futuros docentes, proponiendo estrategias para fortalecer la inteligencia emocional y la resiliencia con el fin de mejorar su desempeño académico y profesional.
